Job summary

You'll work with engineers and operators to troubleshoot and improve manufacturing processes, applying Lean concepts and CMMS tools. The position is full-time, with potential overtime and a pay rate of $32.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years industrial/facilities maintenance experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Within 50 miles of Santa Ana, CA work location.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to read facility layouts and work with outside contractors.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers and project managers with layout proposals and Kaizens.
• Coordinate with building and grounds contractors as needed.
• Assist in development of prototype equipment and manufacturing processes using Lean concepts.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing problems with operators and supervisors.
• Implement improvements to layouts and material handling.
• Support MESH initiatives and safety/environmental health efforts.
• Perform general maintenance across electrical, mechanical, plumbing systems.
• Collaborate with HR/EHS on activities.
• Carry out related duties and special projects.
