Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Swedesboro, NJ, is seeking an on-site Electrical/Control Technician for night shift. You will maintain and enhance electrical and control systems across food manufacturing processes, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operation.

Responsibilities include documenting systems, diagnosing electrical or control issues with mechanics, supervising Electro-Mechanical staff, and performing scheduled maintenance on networks, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and HVAC

Qualifications

AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
Background in complete machine and electrical control system installation.
Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and control systems design documentation.
Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens and Mitsubishi software; preventive maintenance software preferred.
Ability to read control drawings, P&ID and perform basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Maintain current documentation for all electrical and control systems.
Diagnose and resolve electrical or control-related issues with mechanics/electro-mechanics.
Provide training and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts as needed.
Perform preventive, scheduled, or corrective maintenance on process control systems and networks.
Keep accurate work records and comply with GMP, safety and quality standards.
