Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Lindale, TX is hiring a dedicated team member to transfer eggs from buggies to setter machines and to maintain PPE compliance in a hatchery setting. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 60 lbs, and following NCC Animal Welfare guidelines.

The shift runs 4:00 PM - 3:00 AM on Monday through Tuesday, with on-the-job training and day-one benefits. Nights, weekends, and holidays work is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hatchery or poultry industry experience preferred.
• Basic math functions and skills.

Responsibilities

• Transfer eggs from buggies into setter machines.
• Perform machine checks and clean/sanitize equipment.
• Pull and push egg buggies and follow safety policies.
• Work in accordance with PPE, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and laws.
• All other duties as assigned.
