Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking an egg transfer operator to move eggs from buggies to setter machines and maintain cleanliness and safety in the hatchery environment.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 60 lbs, and working through nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Training and PPE are provided to ensure compliance with animal welfare guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
• Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine checks.
• Transfer eggs from buggies into setter machines.
• Pull and push egg buggies.
• Clean and sanitize machines, floors, drains, baskets, buggies, etc.
• Comply with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state and federal laws, and regulations.
