Job summary

Wayne‑Sanderson Farms is seeking a dedicated hatchery worker to transfer eggs from buggies to setter machinery and to maintain PPE and safety compliance in a fast-paced facility. The role requires adherence to NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and company policies while maintaining a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities include performing machine checks, transferring eggs, pulling and pushing buggies, and cleaning and sanitizing equipment, floors, and drains.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Ability to work unsupervised and motivate oneself.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine checks.
• Transfer eggs from buggies into setter machines.
• Pull and push egg buggies.
• Clean and sanitize machines, floors, drains, baskets, buggies, etc.
• Comply with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and laws.
• All other duties as assigned.
