Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a dependable Egg Handler to manage egg transfers from buggies to setter machines and perform routine equipment checks. This on-site role in Tyler, TX requires adherence to PPE, safety policies, and animal welfare guidelines.

You will work 4:00 PM - 3:00 AM on Mon-Tue with 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM shifts, earning $23/hour plus benefits from day one. Prior hatchery experience and basic math skills are preferred for success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work unsupervised and be self-motivated.
• Able to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended hours.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; hatchery/poultry experience preferred; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine checks.
• Transfer eggs from buggies into setter machines.
• Pull and push egg buggies.
• Clean and sanitize machines, floors, drains, baskets, and buggies.
• Comply with company policies and animal welfare guidelines.
• All other duties as assigned.
