Job summary

Spotter is seeking an Afterhours Driver Support Specialist to join our team, with weekend shifts required. You will be the night-time first contact for drivers, helping resolve issues and keep routes on track.

You will use Slack and our TMS to coordinate with dispatchers, assist with loads, and guide drivers to destinations. The role includes 8-hour shifts with a teammate on each shift and paid two rest days weekly.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transportation, or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Comfortable using computer software tools and logistics software.
• Ability to think on your feet and resolve partner concerns.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for drivers with issues during night shifts, providing empathetic and efficient solutions.
• Tag dispatchers and drivers within Slack to ensure timely information flow.
• Assist with loads, receivers, and shippers issues to maintain schedule adherence.
• Navigate the TMS to locate load numbers and contact brokers for directions.
