Ruan Transportation Management Systems seeks a dispatch coordinator to oversee timely pickup and delivery within an assigned area while ensuring customer satisfaction and DOT compliance. You will assign workloads, monitor driver performance, and use our TMS to capture operational data in near real-time.

In this role you will direct drivers, communicate schedule updates to customers, monitor hours of service, and maintain accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating drivers and dispatch operations.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices.
• Proficiency with transportation management systems and data entry.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for timely pickup and delivery within assigned area while meeting customer expectations.
• Direct and schedule drivers' work; notify assignments to ensure on-time movement of goods.
• Identify and resolve daily service and scheduling issues and communicate with customers as needed.
• Monitor drivers' hours of service to prevent DOT violations.
• Communicate with customers regularly regarding issues impacting service.
• Prepare and process data and paperwork; update dispatch information in real time.
• Monitor and promote safety in all areas of dispatch.
