Job summary

The Edna Tina Wilson Living Center, part of Rochester Regional Health, is seeking an Off-Shift Director for the Long-Term Care unit in Rochester, NY. This 24-hour-per-week role runs 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, every other weekend, providing leadership and clinical oversight to nursing staff and support teams.

You will work with the nurse manager and providers to plan care, develop work plans, and ensure quality, safety, and operational targets are met while delivering exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program.
• Registered in NYS as a registered nurse professional.
• One to three years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees & assures short & long term Nursing Dept. staff schedules per established quidelines
• Facilitates units in emergency medical assessment & care of residents including interventions, transportation & other resources needed
• Serves as a clinical resource person to staff in problem solving, assessments, special procedures & clinical skill enhancements
• Coordinates with the Nursing Staff resident units & admissions dept. the rapid admission of residents including obtaining evaluations as indicated
