Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversees nursing staff schedules and unit staffing per guidelines.
• Facilitates resident care, admissions, and transportation coordination.
• Acts as a clinical resource for problem solving and skill development.
• Coordinates with admissions to ensure rapid resident evaluations.
• Supports staff development with in-services per master plan.
• Ensures continuity of resident status with hospital and nursing leadership.
• Supervises care during meals and maintains required records.
• Supports QA activities and audits within the Nursing Dept.
