Job summary

Rochester Regional Health seeks an Off-Shift Director for the Edna Tina Wilson Living Center in Rochester, NY. This 24-hour-per-week role covers 7:00 PM–7:00 AM with every-other-weekend shifts, providing clinical leadership for nursing staff and resident care planning.

You will partner with the nurse manager to meet quality, safety and operational targets while modeling the Brand Promise and Core Values.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program.
• Registered in NYS as a registered nurse.
• One to three years of nursing experience.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees & assures short & long term Nursing Dept. staff schedules per established quidelines
• Facilitates units in emergency medical assessment & care of residents including interventions, transportation & other resources needed
• Serves as a clinical resource person to staff in problem solving, assessments, special procedures & clinical skill enhancements
• Coordinates with the Nursing Staff resident units & admissions dept. the rapid admission of residents including obtaining evaluations as indicated
