Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician in Parsons, KS. You will keep fleet vehicles in top condition by performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs with focus on safety, compliance, and reliability.

Ideal candidates will have a HS diploma or equivalent, possess their own tools, and be able to read precision instruments. You may work varied shifts and join a team that values safety, teamwork, and excellence.

Qualifications

• Education: High School degree or equivalent.
• Experience as a maintenance technician or equivalent.
• Must provide own tools to perform job duties.
• Ability to read and interpret gauges and instruments.
• Willingness to participate in training and possibly shifts.

Responsibilities

• Repair company equipment safely and timely.
• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform repairs.
• Read precision instruments and use electronic diagnostic tools.
• Comply with DOT, EPA, ICC and OSHA rules.
