Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician in Dallas, TX. You will maintain and repair fleet equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to keep trucks on the road safely.

Ideal candidates have a high school degree, hands-on repair experience, and the ability to read precision instruments. You must provide your own tools and work within DOT/OSHA guidelines with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent education is required.
• Experience as a maintenance technician or similar role preferred.
• Experience with truck repair and body/frame repairs is a plus.
• Must provide personal tools to perform duties.
• Ability to read instruments and perform handy diagnostics.
• Willing to participate in company training programs.

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment safely and efficiently, including preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical or electrical failures and perform repairs.
• Read precision instruments and use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot.
• Weld as needed and comply with DOT, EPA, ICC and OSHA rules.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain records as directed.
