Sysco Corp. in Ankeny, IA is seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on trucks and related equipment. You will diagnose issues, replace parts, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

The role may include mentoring junior techs and performing moderate supervisory duties when Managers are unavailable. The position requires experience with heavy-duty vehicles, strong electrical diagnostics, and the ability to work during a 3rd shift

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current and valid driver's license (CDL preferred, not required).
• Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training and lifecycle maintenance experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment within planned time tolerances.
• Perform Annual inspections on fleet vehicles and other equipment in accordance with regulations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to maximize safety and reliability of fleet vehicles.
• Address Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write ups efficiently.
• Mentor Fleet Technician I and II to aid in development.
