Job summary

Sysco Central Illinois, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee delivery operations Sunday through Thursday 7:00 pm to 4:00 am. You will lead Delivery Associates, monitor routes, and ensure compliance with DOT/OSHA and food safety policies.

Responsibilities include scheduling, labor management, asset utilization, safety investigations, and collaboration with Sales and Safety teams to resolve issues. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Valid Class A CDL meeting company standards preferred.
• HazMat certification preferred.
• Defensive driving certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily work and safety of Delivery Associates.
• Ensures compliance with DOT, OSHA and other regulations.
• Manages labor hours and supplies within budget.
• Prepares work schedules including extra days and shifts.
• Coordinates with Safety, Sales, and Marketing to resolve issues.
• Conducts safety investigations and enforces policies.
