Job summary

Wayfair is seeking a Home Delivery Operations Terminal Manager in South Elgin, IL to lead our delivery operation. You will manage Supervisors, Associates, and Driver Partners, guiding safety, customer experience, and cost efficiency while building a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills and collaboration with cross functional teams.
• Ability to proactively identify opportunities and implement solutions; lean/six sigma a plus.
• Comfort with delivery routing technologies and warehouse management systems.
• Experience with data sets and creating simple templates in Google Sheets.
• BA/BS in management, administration, supply chain, or customer service.
• 5+ years in fulfillment, distribution, home delivery or transportation.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for safety, customer experience, employee experience, quality, and cost of your Home Delivery Operation Terminal.
• Provide inspirational leadership to your team of Wayfair Warehouse and Transportation employees.
• Build partnerships with Delivery Partners to ensure outbound capacity and an exceptional home delivery experience.
• Drive results across a balanced set of performance metrics: Safety, Customer, Employee, Quality, Cost.
• Develop people through skill development and career pathing.
• Collaborate with Safety, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Transportation, Training, and Workforce Planning to ensure needs are met.
• Champion change and continuous improvement in a fast-moving environment.
