Job summary

Wayfair is seeking a Warehouse Associate in South Elgin, IL to help move and manage inventory across Receiving, Picking, Packing, Shipping, and Returns. You will use scanners and handheld devices to track items, perform quality control, and assist with packaging to ensure on-time delivery to customers.

The role requires a team player mindset in a fast-paced setting, with training across fulfillment functions and a focus on safety, efficiency, and accuracy in handling items up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Stand, walk, bend, lift and work an 8+ hour shift in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.
• Frequently lift merchandise up to 75+ lbs.
• Able to read and comprehend English for safety and guidance.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Warehouse or logistics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move and load/unload furniture and inventory of various sizes.
• Use scanners, tablets, and warehouse software to track and locate items.
• Perform quality checks and assist with repackaging and labeling as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
