Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Manager for night shift to lead a diverse team responsible for cloud infrastructure across global data centers. You will mentor staff, sponsor projects, devise strategies and oversee hardware diagnostics, repairs, and on-call rotations.

You will drive KPI measurement, improve processes, coordinate staffing, and ensure safety and security standards while delivering reliable, cost-efficient operations for AWS customers. Travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years IT experience or higher and 2+ years of people management.
• Experience in data center facilities, mission-critical environments, or production facilities.
• Willingness to travel between centers and work non-standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign tickets to data center technicians and operators.
• Lead a diverse team across locations with varying skills.
• Develop career paths and manage staff staffing levels.
• Oversee day-to-day data center operations, queue management, and on-call schedules.
• Drive KPI and metric reporting and implement process improvements.
