Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Team Leader to supervise a night-shift crew in a critical facilities environment. You will lead engineering staff, manage complex vendor networks, and ensure uptime for clients’ digital infrastructure.

The role requires hands-on data center experience with cooling/power systems and a commitment to safety and reliability. Strong leadership and problem-solving are essential for maintaining CBRE’s operational standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4–5 years of related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to inspect and maintain building systems including HVAC, fire alarms, and plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering staff and ensure equipment is functional and client spaces are in prime condition.
• Review service request summaries to identify recurrent problems.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for building machinery.
• Inspect building systems to ensure operation within design parameters and client specifications.
• Estimate time and materials for repairs; manage inventory and order supplies.
• Assist team with complex repairs, emergencies, and maintenance tasks.
• Coach colleagues and share expertise across disciplines.
• Lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values to achieve objectives.
