Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in the United States seeks a Data Center Team Leader to guide one of our specialized technical operations with deep hands-on data center experience, including cooling systems, redundant power, and uptime requirements.

You will lead skilled engineering teams and manage complex vendor networks to protect clients' digital assets. The role features a night shift on a rotating 12-hour schedule, 3 days one week and 4 days the next, emphasizing CBRE RISE values and operational

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of job-related experience or equivalent.
• Experience with critical environments and uptime requirements.
• Strong leadership and ability to coach others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and inspect engineering staff work; ensure equipment is functional and client space is in prime condition.
• Review monthly service request summaries to address recurrent issues.
• Formulate and implement a preventative maintenance program for building systems.
• Inspect fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to meet design specs and environmental conditions.
• Estimate time and materials for repairs and manage inventory of supplies and tools.
• Assist team with complex repairs, emergencies, and preventive maintenance.
• Coach others and develop expertise across function.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
• Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and operational plans.
• Communicate complex ideas and influence stakeholders.
