Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED accepted; 1–3 months related experience or training or equivalent combination.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Proficient in use of the computer.
• Solid organizational, analytical problem solving and communication skills.
• Follow good sanitation and housekeeping practices.
• Compliance with food safety policies.
• Follow GMPs and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate knock out machine.
• Knock out manually into brine tanks.
• Complete appropriate data entry/PLC machine set up.
• Maintain 701 or 704.
• Washer chemical concentration.
• Conduct aseptic cheese sampling.
• Operate natamycin bath and maintain concentration.
• Operate punch machine and metal detector.
• Must be able to appropriately handle and use cleaning chemicals.
• Monitor and complete punch machine needle checks.
• Stack aging baskets.
• Requires regular attendance.
