Job summary

Saputo is seeking a Knockout Attendant for an on-site role in Almena, Wisconsin. The position runs 4am–4pm and involves operating the knockout machine, managing brine tanks, and ensuring product quality and sanitation in a fast-paced dairy environment.

The incumbent will perform data entry, PLC setup, sampler routines, and routine equipment checks while adhering to GMPs, SOPs, and food safety policies. High school diploma or GED and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Proficient use of the computer.
• Solid organizational, analytical problem solving and communication skills.
• Follow GMPs and SOPs.
• Compliance with food safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and appearance of the product.
• Data entry and PLC machine setup.
• Maintain 701 or 704.
• Monitor washer chemical concentration.
• Conduct aseptic cheese sampling.
• Operate natamycin bath and maintain concentration.
• Operate punch machine and metal detector.
• Handle cleaning chemicals appropriately.
• Monitor punch machine needle checks.
• Stack aging baskets.
