Job summary

CW Resources is seeking a skilled Custodial Supervisor to support daily custodial operations at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER). The role covers hands-on cleaning duties while guiding and training Custodial staff on standards and procedures.

This full-time night-shift position runs Wed-Sun from 6:00 pm to 2:30 am. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of custodial experience, leadership ability, OSHA familiarity, and a valid driver's license with RealID and base access eligibility.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial, institutional, or industrial setting.
• Experience providing day-to-day guidance, training, or direction to custodial staff.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and safe chemical handling.
• Strong understanding of various cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Valid RealID.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain government base access.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train custodial staff in daily cleaning tasks, ensuring work meets established standards and procedures.
• Perform routine custodial duties: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom sanitation, trash removal, and related tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness, identify deficiencies, and ensure safety and sanitation compliance.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; notify Custodial Project Manager when replenishment is needed.
• Ensure proper use, care, and storage of custodial equipment; report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Respond to urgent cleaning needs, spills, and safety hazards promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with building management, maintenance, and other departments on facility issues.
• Assist the Custodial Project Manager in implementing cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and quality-control measures.
• Promote a positive, respectful, and productive work environment.
