Job summary

CW Resources, Inc. is seeking a skilled Custodial Supervisor to oversee daily custodial operations at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson.

The role involves hands-on cleaning duties, training and guiding staff, and ensuring compliance with safety standards on the Wed-Sun night shift (6:00 pm–2:30 am) at JBER. You will inspect facilities, manage supplies, coordinate with management, and help implement procedures and quality controls to maintain high cleanliness and safety levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial, institutional, or industrial setting.
• Experience providing day-to-day guidance, training, or direction to custodial staff.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and safe chemical handling practices.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain government base access.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train custodial staff in daily cleaning tasks to established standards.
• Perform routine custodial duties: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom sanitation, trash removal.
• Inspect facilities to verify cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; notify PM of replenishment needs.
• Ensure proper use and storage of custodial equipment; report malfunctions.
• Respond to spills and safety hazards promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with building management and other departments on facility issues.
• Assist PM in implementing cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and quality-control measures.
• Promote a positive, respectful, and productive work environment.
