Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Northeast Ohio seeks a CT Technologist to join the radiology team. The role involves producing high‑quality CT images, assisting with CT‑guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Required ARRT RT registration, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS certification; ARRT CT certification or plan to obtain within a year. Cross training opportunities are available within a dynamic care environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
• ARRT CT credential or plans to obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or attained within probation.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in various clinical settings.
• Assist with CT‑Guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and care team; maintain accuracy under stress.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program

ARRT Registered Radiology Technologist

ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year

Ohio Radiographer License (ODH)

AHA BLS Certification
