Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Must be ARRT registered (CT), hold an Ohio Radiographer License, and BLS. A CT credential within one year is required; one year CT experience is preferred. Night shifts with every other Sunday as stated.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain basic understanding and comfort.
• Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision.
• Works well both independently and as part of the CT Team.
