Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland area is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT imaging and assist with CT-guided procedures. This role supports inpatient and outpatient services during night shifts, operating within a busy radiology department.

Qualifications include ARRT registration in Radiography, ARRT CT within 1 year, and an Ohio Radiographer license, plus BLS. Biweekly hours total 60 with 5x12hr shifts and every-other Sunday, with a sign-on bonus for external

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential within one year of employment.
• Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS certification or within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Work independently and as part of the CT team with nursing and physician staff.
