Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with CT specialization to produce high-quality CT images and support CT-guided procedures. You will coordinate scheduling for inpatients and outpatients and educate patients about procedures and equipment.

The ideal candidate is ARRT-registered, licensed in Ohio, and certified in BLS. This full-time night-shift role offers a 5x12-hour schedule, every other Sunday, with a sign-on bonus for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Schedules and coordinates care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients about procedures, equipment, and examinations.
• Maintains on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.
