Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join our radiology team in Cleveland. The role involves performing CT scans, assisting with CT-guided procedures and educating patients on the imaging process.

You will coordinate scheduling for inpatients and outpatients and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and technologists to ensure high-quality care. The candidate should have ARRT credentials or be within one year of CT credential, hold an Ohio radiographer license, and be BLS certified.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging for a variety of patient types and clinical indications.
• Assist with CT-guided biopsies, drain placements and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate scheduling and workflow for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exam expectations.
• Maintain high safety standards and effective communication with care teams.
