Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist for night shifts in Ohio. The role encompasses producing CT images, assisting in CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients. The candidate must be ARRT certified (or obtain CT credential within a year) and hold an Ohio Radiographer License, with BLS required.

Extensive CT experience is valued; you will join a team of radiology professionals with opportunities for cross-training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision; works independently and as part of the CT team.
