Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT scanners, produce high-quality images, and assist with CT-guided procedures. The role supports inpatients and outpatients while educating patients to improve comfort and understanding of procedures.

The position requires ARRT Radiology Technologist certification, ARRT CT credential (or within one year), Ohio Radiographer License, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT registered Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Ohio Radiographer License (ODH) required.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging and ensure high-quality CT scans.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and examinations to promote understanding and comfort.
• Coordinate scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Work with radiology staff and nurses to provide safe, efficient patient care.
