Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a temporary 12-week contract on the night shift, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, full-time with a 36-hour weekly schedule and rotating weekends. The role emphasizes high-acuity respiratory care in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Requirements include NBRC CRT, state RCP license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with NRP either on hire or within 60 days. Two years of acute care experience is required.

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• Current Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from NBRC required; hired before Mar 2026 exempt.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC on hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification within 60 days of hire and maintained.
• PALS certification within 60 days of hire and maintained.
• Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification on hire or within 60 days.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician.
• Assess, plan, implement and document care with age/population considerations.
• May serve as Lead RCP in the absence of supervision.
