Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Illinois seeks a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a temporary 12‑week contract. Schedule: nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week with rotating weekends, pay $50 per hour.

This role requires NBRC CRT, active RCP license, BLS, ACLS and PALS, within 60 days, plus two years of acute care experience; associate or BS degree preferred. Neonatal Resuscitation Program is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current State RCP license required.
• Current CRT NBRC certification required; hired before March 2026, are exempt.
• BLS certification required on hire and current.
• ACLS certification within 60 days of hire and current.
• PALS certification within 60 days of hire and current.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certificate on hire or within 60 days.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician, with emphasis on assessment, planning, implementation and documentation of care.
• Act as Lead RCP in absence of a supervisor, possibly overseeing the section during their shift.
