Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Illinois is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a 12-week temporary contract, working nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The position offers competitive pay at $50 per hour and a 36-hour weekly schedule with rotating weekends.

The RCP will perform respiratory therapies and pulmonary diagnostics under medical direction, with responsibilities including assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of patient care.

Qualifications

• Current State RCP license required.
• Current NBRC CRT certification required; hired before Mar 2026, exempt if applicable.
• BLS certification upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification within 60 days of hire and maintained.
• PALS certification within 60 days of hire and maintained.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapies and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician.
• Focus on assessment, planning, implementation and documentation of care for patients of varying ages.
• Lead RCP on shift if supervisor absent.
