Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Illinois seeks a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a 12-week temporary contract. Nights shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week. Fast interview process and competitive pay with shift differentials.

The RCP performs respiratory therapy procedures and pulmonary diagnostics under medical direction, with emphasis on assessment, planning and documentation. Leadership duties may arise during shifts.

Qualifications

• Active State RCP license required.
• NBRC CRT certification required; hired before March 2026 are exempt.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required or obtained within specified timeframes.
• Two years acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by physician.
• Focus on assessment, planning, implementation and documentation of care with patient age-specific needs.
• When supervisor is absent, may be Lead RCP responsible for section/department during the shift.
