Job summary

Inova Health System is seeking a Critical Response Dispatcher / Customer Care Coordinator 2 for the Night shift (5:00pm–3:30am) in Falls Church, VA. The role involves answering emergency calls, coordinating urgent responses, and supporting hospital operations from a 24/7 command center.

Requirements include 3 years of experience in 911/urgent care dispatching and a high school diploma or GED. Training schedule starts with a 6-week program, and preferred candidates have healthcare call center

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in 911/Emergency Dispatching or similar healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Answer and process calls to the enterprise emergency response line with accuracy.
• Assess critical patient or safety events, implement response plans and activate medical/public safety teams as required.
• Coordinate with clinical and security staff to deploy resources based on event complexity and inform the High Reliability Operations Center.
• Assist with safety advisories, PA broadcasts, and Inova Text Alert communications to leaders and teams.
