Qualifications

• 0-2 years' experience required.
• Successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing with clinical in an accredited nursing program and active enrollment in nursing school.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required.
• Phlebotomy/EKG competency or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and follow standard precautions.
• Perform phlebotomy, vital signs, point-of-care testing and EKGs as directed by RN and document.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient status to RN and respond appropriately.
• Reinforce education for patients and families regarding care needs and safety.
