Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL seeks a Registered Nurse PCCU for the Medical ICU to work 36 hours weekly. The role includes night shifts 7pm–7:30am with every third weekend and rotating holidays, with potential float to other adult inpatient units as needed.

The incumbent will develop care plans, assess patients, document data, and educate patients and families while collaborating with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes and safety.

Competenze

• RN license in Illinois is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• At least 1 year of inpatient nursing experience.

Mansioni

• Develop and revise care plans to meet patient outcomes.
• Assess patients and collect health data from patient, family, and team.
• Communicate plan of care and health data to patient, family, and physicians.
• Provide patient/family teaching tailored to learning needs and culture.
• Collaborate with peers and supervisors, delegating tasks as needed.
• Offer compassionate, psychological support to patients.
• Assist with contrast injection, venipuncture, meds, and IV care.
• Engage in performance improvement and wound/ostomy care activities.
• Conduct daily rounds for wound/ostomy/skin care if skilled.

Associate Degree in Nursing

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within 5 years

RN Diploma (grandfathered)
