Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Critical Care PCCU unit. This full-time night-shift role (7pm–7:30am) includes weekend and holiday rotation, with potential travel to other units as needed.

You will plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, assess health data, and communicate with patients, families, and the care team to optimize outcomes. Requires IL RN license and ACLS/BLS.

Qualifications

• RN license active in Illinois.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient nursing experience.
• ADN with BSN within five years if ADN used.
• Preferred: ICU/ER experience and CWON/CWCN certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develops a care plan to achieve expected outcomes and revises as needed.
• Performs patient assessment and collects health data from patient/family and care team.
• Communicates plan of care to patient, family and interdisciplinary team; documents data.
• Individualizes patient education based on assessment and learning needs.
• Collaborates with peers and delegates tasks as needed.
• Provides compassionate support and maintains HIPAA compliance.
• Assists with injections, IVs, and related procedures; supports staff.
• Participates in performance improvement and nursing research.
• May conduct daily rounds for wound/ostomy/skin care.
• Transports acutely ill patients as needed.

Associate Degree or higher in Nursing

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

RN Diploma Nurse (grandfathered)
