Qualifications

• RN license in Illinois, active
• ACLS and BLS/CPR certifications required
• Minimum 1 year inpatient nursing experience
• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; if ADN, must pursue BSN within 5 years

Responsibilities

• Develops and revises a care plan to meet patient outcomes.
• Performs patient assessments and data collection with family involvement.
• Communicates plan of care to patient, family, and interdisciplinary team.
• Provides culturally appropriate patient education and self-management guidance.
• Support professional development and mentoring of peers and students.
• Provide compassionate, psychological support to patients.
• Assist with injection of contrast, venipuncture, IV management, and Oxygen therapy.
• Participate in performance improvement and wound/ostomy care updates.
