Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking a Conveyor Supervisor to oversee technicians, schedule repairs, and assess performance at DC2 in New Albany, OH. You will lead daily meetings, assign work orders, and ensure timely completion of PMs and repairs.

You may perform technician duties as needed, configure parts, manage stock, and mentor staff while maintaining safety and compliance within a distribution center environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in distribution or manufacturing.
• Extensive knowledge of powered conveyor and associated equipment.
• Familiar with Rapistan / Dematic and SDI conveyors.
• Able to wire 480v motors.
• Basic knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Read electrical prints.
• Follow mechanical drawings and parts breakdowns.
• Welding and machining experience a plus.
• Comfortable with heights and lock out tag out procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform diagnostic checks on conveyor systems.
• Document repairs, parts used and time completing tasks in database.
• Resolve root cause of high jam areas.
• Audit preventative maintenance quality and time spent to completion.
• Ensure PM's are performed in a timely manner.
• Coach technicians on recognizing potential issues during PM's and determine solutions and timelines for implementations.
