Job summary

Hydrogen Group is seeking a Control Room Operator for a 24/7 Remote Operations Control Center in the United States. This on-site night-shift role in Centennial, CO involves monitoring sites, responding to alarms, and coordinating with field and maintenance teams.

Ideal candidates bring control-room or dispatch experience and familiarity with SCADA, industrial monitoring, or renewable energy operations. The job requires staying alert during four 12‑hour night shifts weekly and may include

Qualifications

• Previous control room experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with SCADA and plant monitoring desirable.
• Candidates from renewables, utilities or other 24/7 ops encouraged.
• Comfortable monitoring multiple systems and alarms.
• Strong communication and coordination with field/maintenance.
• Good computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Strong attention to detail when recording events.
• Ability to stay focused in a night-shift, 12-hour arc.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assets and operating conditions via SCADA and control systems.
• Monitor alarms, faults and equipment status; identify actions.
• Follow procedures and escalate issues to appropriate personnel.
• Coordinate with field technicians and maintenance teams during incidents.
• Support safe restoration of equipment after issues.
• Record events, alarms, incidents and actions accurately.
• Use CMMS to support maintenance activities and work orders.
• Track site performance and share info with field staff.
• Support planned and unplanned outages across sites.
• Maintain shift logs and provide clear handovers.
• Follow safety, ops and regulatory procedures.
