Job summary

Unilever Jonesboro is seeking a Compound Lead to direct 2nd and 3rd shift processing operations, leading 11–18 staff across compounders and support roles. You will convert production plans into shift execution, assign labor, manage batch priorities, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

This is a full-time role with a comprehensive benefits package. The position requires strong technical judgment, decisive people leadership, and a 24- to 36-hour operating view to protect fill-line

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in manufacturing or processing.
• Proven ability to direct teams, hold employees accountable, coach performance.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with field verification.
• Ability to prioritize people, batches, tanks, sanitation, and equipment under changing demand.
• Clear communication across shifts and with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Review the outgoing handoff and assess schedule, batch and Pre-Weigh readiness, tank availability, staffing, equipment concerns, and quality holds.
• Assign work across Compounding, Sanitation Tech, and Pre-Weigh; set expectations, reallocate labor, approve or adjust breaks and overtime.
• Walk the floor to verify execution, address GMP/5S concerns, and challenge explanations that don’t match conditions.
• Coach employees, document or elevate concerns, and take authorized action when warranted.
• Provide a thorough shift handoff with batch status, risks, staffing, equipment, and actions.
