Job summary
Unilever Jonesboro is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:15pm, Mon-Fri). Base wage during evaluation is $33.75/hr, rising to $34.78/hr plus $1.50 shift differential after evaluation.
The role supports maintenance, safety, quality, and production KPIs, including downtime reduction and effective preventative maintenance. You will work with mechanical and electrical systems, perform PMs, diagnose issues with voltmeters and meters, and document work in the CMMS
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years as a production line mechanic or facilities mechanic.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong communication skills.
- Experience with gearboxes, bearings, motors, and basic electrical tests.
Responsibilities
- Functions as a member of the shift Maintenance Team to resolve equipment problems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose electrical issues with meters and related tools and document work.
- Support installation/startup of new equipment and coordinate with planners.
- Maintain documentation in the CMMS and participate in root cause analysis.
