Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a Coating Line Operator to lead daily operation of the coating line, perform machine set ups and changeovers, and supervise tasks at multiple work stations. You will ensure safety and meet production schedules while maintaining accurate production records.

This role requires strong teamwork, safety focus, and ERP proficiency, with a starting hourly rate of $27.54 plus a $2.00 shift differential; overtime and weekend work are expected in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years manufacturing experience.
• Willingness to wear PPE and work safely.
• Strong quality and service focus.
• Good written and oral communication.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing documents.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Able to work overtime including weekends.
• Proficiency with ERP transaction systems.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operation of the coating line and manage set ups and changeovers.
• Provide direction to team members and assign tasks on the machine.
• Maintain safety and environmental procedures and logs.
• Load raw material, monitor processes, and ensure production schedules.
• Perform tests and monitor product characteristics with standard devices.
• Record production data and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Lead shift turnover, communicate priorities, and assist in problem solving.
• Provide training on line tech responsibilities as requested.
