Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a Coating Operator to join the coating line team. You may work in multiple stations and lead machine set ups, changeovers, and adjustments while ensuring safety and quality compliance.

The role operates on the B Team, Dayshift, 7a-7p, 2-2-3, and requires strong problem solving, teamwork, and ERP proficiency. Training and growth opportunities are available in a global materials company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Must wear PPE and follow safety polices.
• Strong quality and service focus.
• Good written and oral communication.
• Ability to read and comprehend documents related to product manufacturing.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Willing to overtime including weekends.
• Demonstrate initiative, integrity, and judgment.
• Experience with daily ELS processes and tools (MDI, standard work, 5S).
• Reliable and hardworking.
• Proficiency with ERP system transactional skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety polices.
• Loading raw material into the machine and unloading finished product.
• Determining and controlling the machine cycle, varying and modifying as necessary.
• Performing tests and checking product using standard measuring devices.
• Meeting production schedules and programming production sequences for optimal productivity.
• Following standard operating procedures and monitoring meters, gauges, temperatures, pressures and related controls to ensure adherence to production specifications.
• Maintaining production records and logs of equipment and product performance.
• Supporting safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Teamwork: assisting and supporting other team members in meeting department and site goals.
• Perform all other duties assigned by the supervisor.
