Job summary

Avery Dennison in the United States is hiring a manufacturing associate for the day shift (6 AM–2 PM). You will order and verify materials, run orders to product specifications, perform machine setup, and record data including downtime and performance-to-plan.

You will inspect finished goods, label and package per customer specs, maintain supplies, and follow environmental and safety procedures. Overtime may be required; lift 50 lbs. experience in manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Order and verify materials per order.
• Run orders per product specifications and standard practices.
• Perform routine set-up and changeover of machine.
• Accurately capture and record necessary operating data, including downtime causes and performance-to-plan.
• Inspect general appearance of finished product.
• Label and package finished goods for shipment per customer specifications, quality requirements, and standard practices.
• Keep area supplied with necessary packaging materials.
• Ensure effective operations.
• Follow procedures for accumulation, labeling, solid waste compacting, on-site transportation, storage and inspection of hazardous materials per Environmental Control Instructions.
• Participate in group problem-solving teams and continuous improvement activities.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Supervisor.
