Job summary

ATI is seeking a high-performing N/C Turning Equipment Setup Relief Operator in Wisconsin to join our production team. The role involves setting up and operating various CNC turning machines to machine forgings or stock per customer requirements, using a range of cutting tools.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of CNC operation and setup experience on horizontal or vertical lathes, plus strong reading and measurement skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years CNC operation experience.
• 5+ years setup experience on horizontal or vertical lathes.
• Basic reading, math, and measurement comprehension.
• Ability to read instructions and perform simple measurements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning equipment to machine forgings or stock per customer specifications.
• Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and gauges to ensure proper setups and machining operations.
• Read blueprints and tolerances to verify dimensions.
• Operate on 4th shift (11pm–7am) with training on 1st shift (7am–3pm) for 60–90 days.
