Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNC Machining Certificate or active enrollment in accredited program required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare CNC machine and tooling for operation.
• Perform tool presetting to reduce touch-off by machinist.
• Address setup issues and verify adequate tools and parts for each job.
• Maintain records of setup procedures and production data.
• Load and secure materials on fixtures per safety requirements.
• Select cutting tools, fixtures, and accessories for each part.
• Complete basic production paperwork and labeling.
• Keep the work area clean, organized and safe.
• Communicate issues to machinist or supervisor.
