Job summary

Stryker Group in Arlington, TN is seeking a CNC Prep Tech to set up tools, read blueprints, and prepare materials for CNC production runs. You will preset cutting tools, load fixtures, document procedures, and maintain clean, safe work areas.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and a CNC machining certificate or be enrolled in a tech program. Some lifting and physical tasks are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CNC Machining Certificate or active enrollment in a tech program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare CNC machine setup by cleaning the area and verifying readiness.
• Perform tool presetting through Zoller to minimize touch-off by machinists.
• Address setup issues and inspect parts for quality during preparation.
• Maintain accurate records of setup procedures and production data.
• Load and secure materials on fixtures according to safety and machining requirements.
• Select cutting tools and fixtures for each job and complete basic production paperwork.
